Japanese desserts

A British producer of luxury Japanese mochi has launched two product lines to retail after years supplying the UK’s Japanese restaurants: Little Moons, frozen mochi ice cream that comes in six flavours; and Tsuki Mochi, a range of mochi truffles available in two varieties.
These listings are the start of a wider retail rollout for the business, which aims to tap into the current strength in demand for chilled desserts. Mochi has iconic status in its home country of Japan, where it is a mass market product, and a celebrity following in the west.
Less than 100 calories each and presented in a box of six, Little Moons mochi ice cream is available in the following flavours: Toasted Sesame, Vanilla, Coconut, Matcha Green Tea, Mango and Raspberry.
Tsuki Mochi truffles are available in a box of four in two editions: Yuzu Lemon Cheesecake and Dark Chocolate.
