Tna continues global expansion with new office in Russia

Processing and packaging solutions provider Tna has opened its new customer support office in Moscow, Russia.

Headed up by general manager, Alexandra Simakova, the office will be supporting food manufacturers in Russia, the Baltics and the wider region of CIS countries, with Tna’s range of turnkey processing and packaging solutions. This includes materials handling, cooking and frying, cooling and freezing, distribution, seasoning and coating, weighing and packaging, metal detection, verification, inserting and labelling, case packing and controls integration.

Peter Oussoren, chief sales officer at Tna, says, “We see immense potential in the region with more and more manufacturers looking for high speed technology that can help them reach the same throughput with a single piece of equipment.”

Simakova adds, “The Russian food industry is very diverse, with each region having its own specific set of preferences. At the same time, we’re also seeing global trends affect local consumer choices. As a global business with a strong regional footprint, Tna is well placed to cater to both the needs of the big multinationals as well as the smaller local manufacturers.”

The new Russian office follows Tna’s recent announcement of a new office in Tokyo, Japan. Tna operates over 30 offices and manufacturing sites around the world and over 14,000 systems installed across 120 countries.
