CannedWater4Kids & INX International collaborate for Hurricane Harvey disaster relief

CannedWater4Kids (CW4K) and INX International Ink Co. have joined forces to send a truckload of drinking water (52,800 12oz cans) to help with the Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts.

Natural disasters can damage and contaminate drinking water sources, creating a need for clean water. The cans of purified water have reportedly been delivered to a Red Cross Distribution Centre near Houston, Texas, the region hit hardest by the hurricane

Greg Stromberg, CannedWater4Kids water charity CEO, says, “This is the first of many truckloads we hope to send. Without hesitation, we helped. It was the right thing to do because clean, safe drinking water is a valuable resource. One doesn’t realise how valuable until it is gone.”

Renee Schouten, director of marketing for INX, adds, “We are doing our part as good corporate citizens. It is important to be there for people, in good times and in bad. Providing clean water to communities enduring a crisis will aid in recovery and hopefully give some sense of comfort to those in need.”
