Bokomo Foods reveals name change and new CEO
Cereal manufacturer Bokomo Foods has announced a company name change as well as the promotion of its former commercial manager to CEO.
The company, which will now be known as Pioneer Foods UK, chose the new name to reflect its global vision of pioneering the development of new cereals and snacks.
Former commercial manager Jonathon Thorn will lead the British company’s UK expansion plans in his new role as CEO.
As part of this growth, last year the company acquired Streamfoods, producer of children’s snack brand Fruit Bowl.
Thorn says, “This name change to Pioneer Foods UK marks an exciting point in the history of our company as we seek to push forward with our UK plans.
“Our passion for delivering excellent service remains the same: I would like to reassure all of our existing customers that they will receive the same on time, dedicated and experienced service that we have always offered.
“Coupled with our factory move last year, and our acquisition of Fruitbowl in 2016, our name change signifies a new era for Pioneer Foods UK.”
