Slush Puppie acquires Beverage Concepts Benelux

On April 1 Slush Puppie acquired Beverage Concepts Benelux (BCB), its long-term partner in Western European markets.

This consolidation of the European Business is the first move in a 5-year journey planned for the business to further expand its Ice Crystal Drinks offering across Europe. The business has planned investments of over £8 million pounds in infrastructure, staff, and equipment, for the years ahead, of which BCB will now be part.

Commenting on this recent consolidation Pieter Corstiaans, BCB, says, “We have been a partner of Slush Puppie Ltd for many years now and are delighted to be part of their long term plans. We hope that being part of the wider European arm of Slush Puppie Ltd will allow our business and staff to gain new opportunities in the Ice Crystals Drinks market.” The consolidation will see Corstiaans, Director and son of the founder of BCB stay on as General Manager to run the Dutch and French arm of Slush Puppie Ltd and build on new opportunities, these markets have to offer.

Commenting on the consolidation, Julian Reid, director European operations, Slush Puppie says, “Slush Puppie has market-leading infrastructure across the UK and Western Europe, enabling us to further invest in our brands, our people, our customer programs, and new opportunities for frozen beverages in these markets. We are excited about the strengths and knowledge we can gain from the BCB business and they will be an asset to our current infrastructure.”
