Bring on the beer

Date: 25/10/2011

The global beer industry will no doubt be raising a glass this week to the news that sales are starting to creep up, as revealed in Canadean’s latest report.

And UK-based Bath Ales will be comforted by the news too, having just announced an ambitious investment plan in a bid to see volumes double in the next two years.

The first steps have already been taken, with a new bigger facility opened in the last few weeks to house the transport and logistics team.

Other functions will be transferred over the next months, enabling capacity to be expanded, creating further employment, while maintaining service and quality to customers and consumers.

“This is tremendously exciting for us and presents an opportunity to really kick on and have our beers enjoyed by more people and further afield,” says Bath Ales managing director Roger Jones.

It’s also a tremendous opportunity for me to pay a visit. So good luck with it all, guys, and I’m looking forward to a guided tour…
