Sweeping the board

Date: 08/10/2010

Having just written two coverlines for the latest issue of the magazine – one about transit testing methods for wine and the other relating to the current success of a malted ingredients firm – it was nigh on impossible, as I’m sure you’ll agree, not to allude to alcohol on the aforementioned cover. However, my boss is somewhat perturbed by what she sees as an increasingly common – nay disturbing – theme running through both the editorial content of both the magazine and my blogs (surely that’s verging on the slanderous…) Anyway, her point has been noted and I promise to make this blog an alcohol free zone. Sadly, though, that means I can’t tell you about the Monopoly board pub crawl planned for this weekend. Nor can I mention the fact that I’ll be supping my way through Whitechapel, Fenchurch Street, Marylebone, Mayfair etc… but I promise to tell you all about it next week (if I manage to avoid going straight to jail, that is.) Now where did I put that milk thistle…?
