Wait a minute, Mr Postman

Well, the December/January double issue of Food & Drink Technology has now gone to press, so let the festivities commence…Actually, they can’t commence just yet as I’m still anxiously awaiting the delivery of several festive parcels that seem to be taking longer to arrive than the darned snow is to clear. And I’m not the only one. Every time the bell rings here at Bell Towers, a sea of expectant faces stampede towards the door, eager to catch a glimpse of a man with a red sack (no, not the big guy himself, but the postman.)
In fact, just this morning, three rolls of wrapping paper arrived for a colleague – and she got so excited you’d have thought she’d won the lottery.
But for now, all the rest of us can do is sit and wait…
