Well-oiled...

Date: 19/05/2011

Another week, another omega-3 revelation in the ongoing debate linking EPA and DHA with mood. This time, it’s an Italian study claiming that the fatty acids may ease symptoms of depression in elderly women. Reading the research reminded me of an interesting chat I had with a lovely man from Martek at Vitafoods recently. He enthusiastically informed me that DHA supplementation had been proven to effectively turn the clock back three years for those with age-related memory problems.
“That’s all very well,” I said. “But how are they going to remember to take it in the first place?”
He looked baffled.
I guess not everyone appreciates my sense of humour.
