When it comes to developing software solutions, I never cease to be amazed by the awe-inspiring vision and capabilities of those at the epicentre of IT.One such person is Christian Schad (pictured) who, four years ago, set up German company Schad (named after himself) and created Extend7000 – a system for mobile operating and monitoring of machine and plant system controls.
The solution is particularly well suited to the industrial automation systems used in food manufacture and, having seen a real time demonstration of its capabilities, I can confirm that, when it comes to maximising workplace efficiency while minimising downtime, its capabilities are truly amazing.
