Stratum and Phytonet join forces
Date: 18/01/2012
Speciality and functional ingredients firm Stratum Nutrition has partnered exclusively with Phytonet to distribute its fibre, Artinia, and joint health ingredient Nem for selective Eastern European countries.
“Phytonet is a respected company with strong knowledge in the food and supplements industry,” says Michael Faber, Stratum’s world area manager for Europe and Asia. “We are confident that this partnership, bringing along a wide network in Eastern Europe, as well as a strong scientific support, will allow the expansion of Artinia and Nem into new markets.”
Artinia is a gluten-free fibre, with EU approval as a novel food ingredient, shown to support cardiovascular health by protecting LDL-cholesterol from oxidation. And Nem, a natural eggshell membrane ingredient, is a natural, food-source ingredient that supports joint health.
