By being part of fantastic teams.

What does a typical day look like for you?

The beauty of my job is that no two days look the same. I spend most of my time at ‘Gemba’ with distributors and customers, or with my team working on short-term improvement priorities and longer term strategic initiatives.

What have been the highlights of your company’s history, in your opinion?

Without a doubt, being acquired by Danaher – and subsequently embracing the Danaher business system – is a very important milestone in Linx’s history.

Give us a positive prediction for the food industry over the next 12 months.

I predict that the food industry will have to provide increased transparency with regard to the origin of its products, and incorporate track and trace technologies to earn the trust of consumers.

What do you consider to be the most important attributes for a leader?

To walk the talk.

People who never give up on their dreams.

Which people/organisations or companies are the ones to watch right now?

Danaher – and its platform’s leadership – is a fantastic source of inspiration to me.

I’d be a teacher.
