M&S Archive hosts talk about the history of food technology at M&S with a selection of tasty festive treats
On Wednesday 21st November the M&S Company Archive in Leeds will be hosting a fascinating talk about 70 years of food technology at M&S.
Celebrating 70 years since Nathan Goldenberg was appointed as Technical Executive and Chief Chemist of the M&S Food Department, the Archive will be discussing how Goldenberg’s Food Technology team revolutionised the food industry and influenced how we eat today.
Goldenberg’s team was responsible for improving quality control, hygiene and safety standards at M&S and these have carried through into the way M&S develops and delivers the food products to its millions of customers.
As well as discussing the ways in which Goldenberg’s team revolutionised the food industry, there will be opportunity for attendees to sample the latest range of M&S Christmas puddings to celebrate 60 years since M&S first sold Christmas puddings.
The free Tasty Technology: 70 years of Food Technology at M&S event is taking place from 12.30pm until 1.30pm on Wednesday 21st November at the M&S Company Archive in Leeds, and booking is essential via Eventbrite. Light refreshments are included.
