Diamonds are a manufacturer’s best friend

Direct Food Ingredients has unveiled its own brand product range, Blue Diamond, with a full audit trail comprising stringent factory audits and accreditations.

The full range will encompass most ingredient groups: gums and stabilisers, artificial and natural sweeteners, vitamins, amino acids, preservatives and acidulants. It will initially launch with a small selection of products, including mono sodium glutamate, potassium sorbate, sorbic acid, xanthan gum, citric acid monohydrate, citric acid anhydrous, tri sodium citrate, micro crystalline cellulose, pea protein, creatine, dextrose monohydrate and maltodextrin, increasing to 30 products by March next year and to 70 products by the end of 2017.
