‘Double Strength’ CBD Drinks to go on sale at Tesco

Goodrays’ range of CBD relaxation drinks is now available at Tesco.

As CBD continues to go mainstream, Tesco shoppers will be able to enjoy the ready-to-drink cans infused with 30mg of natural premium CBD, which is double the market average.

Goodrays is the first and only CBD beverage to launch in Tesco and joins its growing range of CBD products. The launch comes just as functional drinks have become the fastest growing segment in the beverage market (PMMI Business Intelligence, 2021 Beverage Industry Trends) and Mintel states that mental wellness is the most significant food and drink trend (Mintel, 2021 Global Food and Drink Trends).

Goodrays products contain 0% THC, the other well-known plant compound, which contains the psychoactive properties that cause a ‘high’. 

The CBD ready-to-drinks are available in three flavours – Elderflower and Yuzu, Raspberry & Guava and Blood Orange & Grapefruit. 30mg of premium Colorado-grown CBD, a healthy injection of Vitamin D and just 33 calories in every can makes this a tasty and low-calorie way to experience true relaxation. All the drinks are 100% vegan. 

Tesco is stocking three flavours in 188 stores nationwide in extra-format stores, and can be found in the functional drinks section of the store, as well as having wide distribution online. Goodrays also suggests trying as a ‘lunchtime grab & go’ for extra zen on a lunchbreak, a ‘mid-afternoon functional’ to increase focus and productivity, and as a ‘post-work wind-down.’ A 4 pack will cost £7.50.
