Macasa ID UK reports 40% increase in sales

Bedfordshire-based Macsa ID UK is reporting a 40% increase in sales during 2019, with similar growth forecast for 2020. The company attributes its success to widening awareness of the environmental, performance, ease of use and cost benefits of laser marking technology.
The specialist in laser, inkjet and thermal inkjet coding and marking systems also said due to on-going investment in R&D, new coding and marking systems and people with strengthened sales and service teams.
During 2020 it will continue to increase focus on laser marking for the packaging industry, particularly food, beverage, household and personal care sectors.
Macsa ID UK’s managing director said: “Last year’s sales success is the culmination of various strategic growth initiatives since the acquisition by Barcelona-based Macsa ID.
However, customers are also becoming increasingly aware of the cleanliness, speed and ease of use benefits of laser marking technology.
He added: “Plus, laser marking is highly accurate, requires no consumables and is virtually maintenance free, all of which combine to reduce the lifetime cost of ownership and make it more affordable than ever.
“We have exciting plans for 2020 including more investment in R&D, personnel and our production facility, and with the backing of our Spanish parent company.”
