Creamy blue cheese Cambozola launches in 501 Tesco Express stores

Tesco Express shoppers will soon be able to pick up creamy blue cheese Cambozola as a new 150g pack launches in 501 stores nationwide on 26 October.
Priced at £3.35, the cheese will be available in selected branches across England, Scotland and Wales, as well as the Isle of Man. The rollout marks Cambozola’s first listing in Tesco’s convenience stores.
Combining the creamy texture of brie with a mild blue cheese flavour, Cambozola can be served on a cheeseboard, spread onto crusty bread or used in everyday cooking, from pasta sauces to baked potatoes.
Made in the Allgäu region of southern Germany, the cheese comes in a compact, recyclable box.
Dominique Delacour, head of UK marketing strategy at Tom Walker & Sons, said: “The Tesco Express listing is an important step for Cambozola because it brings the brand’s 150g format to shoppers through the UK’s largest grocery retailer.
“The pack is a practical solution for retailers looking to offer premium speciality cheese in a smaller, more accessible format, while making the best use of limited shelf space. For consumers, it offers a convenient portion that is easy to keep in the fridge and versatile enough for everything from everyday meals to a cheeseboard.”
The 150g format is already available through Booths and selected independent stores. Other Cambozola pack sizes are stocked by major UK retailers.
