CKF and Clevertech join forces

CKF Systems, a specialist provider of robotic and automated solutions, has entered into a strategic alliance with Clevertech as the Italian industrial automation business looks to increase its UK sales.

Clevertech’s range of palletising equipment includes high and low level layer palletisers, depalletisers and multi-brand solutions for jars, cans, trays and cases.

Talks to forge closer ties between the two companies began last year after the firms collaborated on a major overseas project which included an extensive conveyor system, layer palletisers and robot palletising.

“This alliance enables CKF to extend into new markets and include a full range of layer palletising and depalletising solutions alongside our robot palletising systems,” explains Kevin Staines (pictured), sales director, CKF Systems.

“With its engineering and software expertise, CKF is able to approach each project either as a system integrator, offering a full turnkey project, or as an agent for the Clevertech equipment,” adds Umberto Reggiani, Clevertech sales manager.
