The key ingredient to effective packing

When McCain Foods launched Ready Baked Jackets in 2012, the product proved so popular that by 2013 the company needed to add a new line to its Scarborough facility, investing in its end of line process.

The company opted for Versapack from Quin Systems, a case erector and case packing machine that promises a simpler set up and operation than conventional systems.

“I was very pleased with the planning and attention to detail of the Quin Versapack. It met McCain’s high quality standards,” says Jim Crookes, project engineer for the bakes line. “The machine is very easy to operate and change over from one product to another,” adds training officer, Terry Machin.
