Texture measurement touchscreen
Stable Micro Systems, the manufacturer of texture analysis instrumentation, has introduced a new touchscreen interface to deliver speed and simplicity to texture measurement. Fully compatible with the TA.XTExpress texture analyser, the new technology promises improved usability and flexibility for high speed data collection and display, without the need for additional software.
Suitable for routine QC and production environments, the touchscreen interface now supports operation of the TA.XTExpress in 18 languages following growing demand for multi-lingual operation from across the world. The interface features a built-in manual, with added animations to show how each test will be performed and analysed.
Its compact design provides a screen measuring 12cm x 8cm, which connects directly with the texture analyser for handheld operation and control. Additional features include a resistive touchscreen, suitable for operators wearing gloves, as well as automatic screen orientation and easy switching between left and right handed use.
