Symrise opens centre of excellence in Brazil
Symrise is strengthening its presence in Latin America with the opening of its centre of excellence near São Paulo, Brazil.
The centre, which took about 12 month to build, will combine the flavour company’s research and development work which has until now been carried out at two different locations.
Symrise says the aim is to strengthen and foster the development of products tailored specifically for the Latin American market.
“We have invested approximately £9 million (€12m) in the building, which is around three times larger than the old facility,” says a spokesman.
