Halewood splashes out on fortified wines

Emva and Eldorado fortified wines have been sold to Halewood International, for undisclosed amounts.

Emva is a full-bodied, rich wine from a sixth generation winery in Cyprus. Produced from black Mavro and white Xiniseri grapes, it is matured for three years in oak barrels. Already stocked by several major supermarkets, the Emva brand will be supported by a packaging redesign.

Eldorado, a full-bodied oak flavoured wine, is well known in Scotland and will be made available throughout the UK.
