A look back on 2019 for Goplasticpallets.com

Plastic pallet company, Goplasticpallets.com has had a successful year of growth in 2019.

The company launched its responsibility policy and recycling scheme. As part of this, it committed to recovering and recycling each and every plastic pallet and box it supplies to customers. Since launching the scheme, the company has recycled 223 tonnes of customers’ plastic waste.

Goplasticpallets.com was awarded the title of Plastic Free Champion by its local chamber of commerce for its commitment to the environment. This included among other things donating recycling-themed books and teaching resources to 22 state primary schools in Eastbourne, East Sussex UK; removing all plastic water cups and laminated pouches from use; recycling all ink cartridges and batteries; switching to hybrid cars and installing an electric charging port in its office carpark.

At intralogistics show IMHX in September, Goplasticpallets.com launched its online platform for signing up to the company’s recycling scheme. The company also exhibited at Fruit Focus for the third time and made its debut at Viti-Culture, the event for the UK viticulture industry.

This year saw the introduction of several new products to its range of plastic pallets, plastic pallet boxes and smaller containers.

At the beginning of the year Goplasticpallets.com unveiled a new, improved version of its multi-trip pallet box – the Trip Box Ultimate, delivering superior strength, better security and enhanced performance for large volume goods handling and distribution. This was followed in the spring by the launch of a selection of multi-use, bi-coloured harvest crates ideal for grape harvesting and storage – the GoS&N 64200 range. Most recently, Goplasticpallets.com introduced the GoFLC 960 – a new, multi-purpose folding pallet container.

In general, business in 2019 has remained strong for Goplasticpallets.com. The main growth areas have remained the food and drink, retail and engineering sectors, where investment in automated systems is helping drive the shift away from traditional wooden pallets to durable, consistent and sustainable plastic ones.
