SITEVI 2025: transform wine production with Eaton’s filtration solutions

Eaton filter media in different designs can be flexibly combined to help produce high-quality wines that meet taste, colour, aroma and shelf-life requirements.
From November 25 to 27, Eaton’s Filtration Division, a power management firm, will exhibit a wide array of high-performance filtration equipment for the wine industry at the SITEVI trade expo in Montpellier, France.
Eaton’s filtration specialists will show how they collaborate to consistently eliminate colloids, suspended particles, yeasts, and bacteria at booth B-057 in hall A1 in order to guarantee superior wine flavour and more effective production.
Among the highlights will be Eaton’s new BECO Helix depth filter cartridges, a revolutionary solution for liquid filtration. According to Eaton, this filter cartridge technology delivers twice the depth filter effect, significantly higher particle-holding capacity, and more than 40% longer service-life compared to standard pleated depth filter cartridges. These performance advantages are made possible by the unique helix wrapping of the pleated, particularly thin and graded polypropylene fleece layers.
The structure maximises the effective filter surface area and enables optimal flow with low pressure differentials. The funnel effect and high mechanical stability make BECO Helix depth filter cartridges highly suitable for backwashing. The fine fleece layers provide reliable separation in particle, clarifying, and fine filtration, while also protecting downstream membrane filter cartridges.
Another featured product will be Eaton’s double-layer stacked disc cartridge ranges, BECODISC BXS and BX3. These stacked disc cartridges use two different depth filter sheets to carry out pre-filtration and fine filtration in a single housing and a single operation, with retention rates precisely adapted to the application.
Also on display will be Eaton’s BECODISC R+ stacked disc cartridge range. Built for extra robustness and designed for at least 20 regeneration cycles, this back-flushable range delivers a long service life and can be flexibly reused for the filtration of different wines.
All BECODISC stacked disc cartridges can be used in a wide variety of stacked disc cartridge housings and filtration systems, including BECO INTEGRA DISC housings and Eaton’s manual or fully automatic StepFlow filtration systems.
