Following its bold commitment to becoming a leader in sustainable packaging, international caps and closures manufacturer United Caps has announced a new series of online webinars titled “Sustainability Week: Every Cap Matters.”

The series of thought-leadership webinars are designed to help the packaging sector navigate the incoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

The live sessions are running November 4th, 5th, and 6th at 2 PM CET, and will remain available on demand for industry professionals.

The  new PPWR legislation, which begins enforcement in August 2026. The intensive three-day series feature an in-depth agenda presented by company experts, aiming to share the manufacturer’s expertise and demonstrate how its product innovations can be applied to customer businesses of all types.

“EU packaging regulation is entering a new era,” said Benoit Henckes, CEO of United Caps. “These stricter rules emphasise design for recyclability, support responsible material selection, and aim to minimise unnecessary packaging while strengthening Extended Producer Responsibility. It’s a decisive moment for our industry.”

He continued: “At United Caps, sustainability has long been part of our DNA. We’re working hand in hand with customers to encourage lifecycle thinking, support compliance readiness, and provide reliable access to recycled polymers. Sustainability Week forms part of our broader effort to help every customer navigate the new regulations with clarity and confidence.”

In three not-to-miss Sustainability Week sessions, attendees will gain a better understanding of what United Caps brings to the market, how the company can help them navigate a complex regulatory environment, how sustainability has become elevated to one of the top three buying criteria, and much more.

“These webinars go beyond theory,” added Mark Tomkinson, from the communications team at United Caps, who will host the webinars. “They focus on practical solutions that will help brands meet PPWR requirements and strengthen their sustainability credentials.”
