Endress+Hauser boosts temperature measurement capacity with new Allgäu facility

Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products has significantly expanded its development and production capabilities with the opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Nesselwang, located in southern Germany’s picturesque Allgäu region.

This €17 million investment solidifies the family-owned company’s dedication to innovation and sustainability, directly impacting the quality and availability of essential temperature measurement and system products for the food and beverage industry.

The new four-story building is designed with the long-term view of a sustainable future. It operates as operationally carbon neutral, relying on a combination of geothermal heat and solar power for its energy needs. This commitment to climate-friendly systems aligns with the industry’s increasing focus on responsible resource management and provides a green benchmark for industrial production.

The expansion adds a significant 3,500 square meters to the site’s usable floor area. This space is crucial for the continuous development of the precision temperature instruments critical for process control, quality assurance, and safety throughout the food and drink production chain.

The facility’s design is geared towards fostering interaction and innovation among its approximately 150 employees. The new offices feature a versatile mix of quiet retreat options and collaborative workspaces, creating the ideal environment for technical development and problem-solving. A new staff restaurant further promotes interaction and employee well-being.
