Sirio Europe, a premier global CDMO, has announced the launch of Aeion, a science-led longevity platform designed to bridge the gap between rigorous nutritional research and consumer habit formation.

Set to premiere at Vitafoods Europe 2026, the platform moves beyond traditional pills, offering eight ready-to-launch concepts developed in collaboration with the Sirio Institute of Aging and leading researchers.

Aeion is built on the philosophy that “long-term healthy ageing is formed through simple, repeatable daily rituals.” To achieve this, Sirio is bypassing single-format solutions in favour of a diverse portfolio of consumer-centric delivery systems.

The platform includes gummies, softgels, and next-generation technologies like Fizzybit tablets and LifeChews jelly tablets.

Debuting within the platform is Snowmelt, an instant-dissolve direct-to-mouth (DTM) powder. It requires no water and dissolves immediately on the tongue, designed specifically to turn nutritional support into a “light, repeatable ritual.”

The platform enters a market increasingly focused on “inflammaging” — the chronic, low-grade inflammation that accelerates aging. Sirio addresses this with its Aeion Quercetin concept. While European consumers currently average only 52mg of quercetin daily, Sirio’s sugar-free, pectin-based gummy delivers a potent 250mg, optimized with Vitamin C for absorption.

Additionally, the platform tackles the mobility crisis. With research showing nearly 40% of seniors struggle with basic movement, the Aeion Active softgel utilises N-acetylglucosamine (NAG) and concentrated fish oil to support bone and joint comfort, translating complex bio-actives into a “convenient two-softgel-per-day” regimen.

The Aeion portfolio covers essential health pillars, including:

  • Cellular health: NAD+ Energy (NADH paired with L-ergothioneine) via the Snowmelt format.
  • Metabolism & heart health: targeted concepts using clean-label, vegan-friendly ingredients.
  • Sensory appeal: focus on natural colours, zesty flavours, and pleasant textures to ensure consumer compliance.

Sirio’s primary goal is speed-to-market. By providing ready-to-launch concepts, the CDMO allows brands to bypass lengthy R&D cycles and tap into the longevity boom immediately. The platform is aimed at premium health-conscious brands looking for science-backed products that offer “on-shelf differentiation” through superior sensory experiences.

For manufacturers and brand owners, Aeion represents a shift in how supplements are sold. It acknowledges that even the most advanced active ingredient is useless if the consumer forgets — or dislikes — taking it.

As Alex Dens, sales director at Sirio Europe, explains: “Aeion was built specifically for that purpose – making it quicker and easier to commercialise effective supplements… It’s about helping people build long-term habits for long-term benefits, because we know they favour practical, enjoyable rituals over perfection.”
