Solos–Dealco partnership strengthens Swiss NoLo wine production

Solos, the Prodalim‑owned NoLo wine innovator, has expanded into Switzerland through a new production collaboration with Rimuss & Strada Wein — a move that significantly strengthens its European footprint and brings its patented aroma‑preservation technology to more wine producers.
The partnership integrates Solos’ Aroma Recovery System (ARS) into Rimuss & Strada’s commercial‑scale facility in Hallau, enabling Swiss producers and beverage brands to create premium alcohol‑removed wines without compromising aroma or authenticity. As part of the launch, Rimuss & Strada has established Dealco Swiss, a dedicated dealcoholisation unit responsible for production and customer service.
Why the collaboration matters for the NoLo market
Expanded European capacity
The Hallau facility adds 10 million litres of annual production capacity, bringing Solos’ global total to more than 40 million litres. This scale supports the accelerating demand for high‑quality NoLo wine across Europe.
Patented aroma‑capture technology
Solos’ ARS system preserves delicate varietal aromas typically lost during alcohol removal. Integrating ARS into Dealco Swiss gives local producers access to a premium, true‑to‑source NoLo solution.
Flexible production for Swiss brands
Dealco Swiss offers batch sizes from 2,500L to 30,000L, IFS and organic certifications, and multi‑format bottling — making it suitable for both boutique wineries and large beverage brands.
Advanced dealcoholisation technology
The site uses a DeAlcoTec vacuum distillation column from Centec, enabling gentle alcohol removal at low temperatures to protect flavour integrity.
A platform for global growth
The Swiss launch follows Solos’ recent expansions in Spain and California, with Latin America next. The Dealco partnership provides a scalable model for entering additional markets.
Claudia Geyer, CTO of Solos, said the collaboration is central to the company’s mission: “Switzerland represents an important next step in Solos’ European expansion and our vision for premium alcohol‑removed wine without compromise. Through owned facilities and strong regional production partners like Dealco Swiss, we are creating a scalable platform that allows producers to meet changing consumer preferences while preserving authenticity and sensory quality.”
