AiroVive destroys odours and secures compliance

Industrial odour and dust control innovator Probe Industries has launched an industry-first odour elimination and enhancement solution named AiroVive.
The technology is specifically engineered to transform air quality at food and nutraceutical processing plants, helping operators achieve regulatory compliance and establish healthier, more sustainable environments for workers, visitors, and nearby communities.
Neutralising odours
Large-scale food processing facilities are a frequent source of intense and persistent malodours. These emissions stem from a wide variety of daily operational activities, including bulk powder and ingredient handling, wastewater management, slaughterhouses, animal by-product processing, high-heat cooking, and sludge or slurry management. Furthermore, the anaerobic decomposition of organic food waste regularly generates highly offensive sulphur compounds, such as hydrogen sulphide.
Because source control is the preferred industry method for effective odour management, AiroVive is designed to destroy odours at the generation source before they can be discharged into the atmosphere. The solution is built upon Probe Industries’ patented AiroPure technology, which breaks down harmful compounds at a molecular level. The resulting formula is completely non-toxic, non-hazardous, and fully compliant with ISO14001 environmental targets.
Independent performance testing of the foundational AiroPure technology highlights its capability to clean industrial gaseous streams:
- Achieves a 100 per cent reduction in sulphur dioxide emissions.
- Achieves a 100 percent reduction in hydrogen sulphide emissions.
- Delivers a 99.4 per cent reduction in ammonia and amines.
World-first mood-boosting scent design
Beyond standard molecular containment, the technology represents the world’s first industrial mood-boosting odour enhancer. It pairs its biodegradable neutraliser with specialised fragrances inspired by the restorative powers of nature to deliver an active wellbeing boost. Developed in consultation with world-renowned fragrance experts, the formulation is rooted in over 30 years of neuroscience and consumer research, supported by artificial intelligence (AI).
Victoria Taylor, CEO at Probe Industries, said this shift is vital for modern processing operations: “Industrial odours affect air quality as well as workplace performance and productivity. With evidence linking poor air quality and malodours to headaches, irritation, fatigue, low mood, stress and other health-related symptoms, operators face increasing pressure from regulators and local communities to improve air quality and control odour and emissions in line with environmental laws and permit conditions.”
“Based on more than 30 years of neuroscience and developed using detailed consumer research supported by artificial intelligence, AiroVive replaces unpleasant odours with mood-enhancing fragrances, demonstrating a strong commitment to both the workforce and the local community, in full regulatory compliance.”
Flexible plant deployment
For plant managers and engineering teams, AiroVive offers highly flexible deployment parameters. Rather than requiring entirely new infrastructure, the liquid formula can integrate directly into a processing plant’s existing manufacturing setups, including automated misting systems, direct spray applications, and liquid injection operations.
By actively replacing unpleasant processing emissions with scientifically backed, mood-enhancing fragrances, the system allows food and nutraceutical producers to demonstrate a measurable commitment to their workforce and local neighbourhoods while maintaining full environmental compliance.
