Wraparound packer
Standard Knapp has launched the Model 333 Vanguard Wrap-Around Packer, which promises a tight, square, cost saving wraparound tray or full case shipper. Depending upon the product and the case, the Vanguard offers speeds of up to 30 cycles per minute, as well as high reliability for continuous operation and a compact design that fits into any shop floor.
Snap-in parts and quick handle adjustments provide reliable, repeatable changeover. It can handle a wide product packaging range, including cans, cartons and bottles (glass or plastic), as well as multipacks, tubs and aseptic packs.
Pneumatically controlled top and side actuation provide complete control over compression, so delicate products are always fully protected. Product comes in directly over the tray blank, eliminating side push and unnecessary impact on the product. Consistent blank selection and forming is guaranteed with Vanguard’s high volume/low pressure blowers, which promise strong vacuum for reliable blank selection and positive control.
