Fever-Tree’s Mojito to meet moderation demand

Fever-Tree is expanding its presence in the alcohol moderation sector with the launch of its new non-alcoholic Mojito.
Inspired by the timeless classic, the new ready-to-drink (RTD) liquid is designed for individuals looking to moderate their alcohol intake without compromising on taste or experience.
The sophisticated beverage joins Fever-Tree’s existing alcohol-free RTD line-up, which includes the Mediterranean G&T and Italian Spritz, alongside their Blood Orange Gin Spritz partnership with Papa Salt Gin.
Meeting moderation
The launch builds on the increasing demand for premium low- and no-alcohol options, as more consumers look for elevated alternatives to traditional soft drinks. Recent research by YouGov shows that over a third (38%) of UK drinkers now consume low- and no-alcohol options on a semi-regular basis, highlighting a clear shift in drinking habits.
The convenient format offers a refreshing, grown-up alternative for a wide range of occasions, from social gatherings to everyday moments.
Flavour profile and distillation process
Crafted using natural ingredients and free from artificial flavourings or sweeteners, the liquid delivers an authentic non-alcoholic alternative to a golden rum Mojito.
Using distillation, Fever-Tree has extracted complex notes of tropical fruit and golden molasses from Caribbean sugar cane before layering and balancing them with zesty Mexican lime and Moroccan mint flavours from their signature mojito mixer.
Brand insight
Rose Cottingham, innovation director at Fever-Tree, commented on the development of the new product: “Our non-alcoholic RTD range has been designed to bring the same level of care, balance and flavour you’d expect from a well-made cocktail, just without the alcohol.
“We developed our non-alcoholic Mojito by diving deep into the flavour architecture of classic rum. Our goal was to create a profile that felt instantly recognisable – one that could transport the drinker straight to that classic mojito moment.
“Through extensive experimentation, we explored layering notes of molasses, warming spice, vanilla and subtle tropical – testing combinations of ingredients and botanicals to recreate rum’s depth and character, all without the alcohol.
“The Mojito is a globally recognised serve that people already know and love, so it was important for us to capture that freshness and vibrancy in a way that still feels elevated and satisfying.”
