Endress+Hauser launches new conductivity measurement system

Endress+Hauser’s Smartec CLD18 conductivity measurement system has been designed in compliance with FDA regulations to provide conductivity measurement in various food and beverage applications. These applications include product monitoring, phase separation and simple CIP.

The Smartec features IP69K protection for high temperature and high pressure washdowns and can also withstand process temperatures from -10ºC up to +130ºC. It’s effective for smaller pipe diameters making a suitable choice for a range of food & beverage applications such as bottling plants, dairies and breweries.

The Smartec is factory calibrated to ensure an easy set-up, and offers a choice of plastic or stainless steel housings to suit individual particular requirements. Two outputs, for conductivity and temperature, come as standard. In addition, Smartec CLD18 has surface mount technology for immunity against plant vibration.
