Cartoner for pastry and cake manufacturer

In collaboration with Belgian agent AP Technics, Kliklok has won an order to supply its SFR end load cartoning machine to Pidy Gourmet, a family run business with a 40 year history, specialising in ready to fill pastry and cake products.

For its plant in Ypres, Pidy Gourmet chose the Kliklok SFR with an extended infeed system to enable the use of its existing product loading system. Additional customisation, such as over height product detectors, automatic lubrication, open flap detector and extended carton hopper, provides a fully automatic solution within a short footprint.  The SFR was also designed as an ‘opposite hand’ configuration to fit into the factory layout.

The machine will be packing flow wraps of pastry shells, in various collations, on edge and side by side at speeds of up to 140 cartons per minute.
