Servo driven stick packer

A medium speed stick pack machine, servo driven and capable of speeds of up to 250 a minute, was demonstrated at this year’s PPMA show for the first time by PFM Packaging Machinery.

Part of a wide range of sachet and stick pack equipment, including units to create shaped packs, the F.A.S.T machine brings the production flexibility of servo control to a class of machinery dominated by mechanical drives, offering enhanced reliability, press button and precise changeovers as well as easier maintenance.

In addition, two versions of the machine are available with the versatility to vary the stick width, as well as length, providing variable formats for development work, small batches and test marketing.

Potential applications include food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and chemicals.
