High fibre pasta

The UK functional foods category is set for a new arrival in the shape of Vetta High Fibre Pasta.

Already popular in Australia, the Vetta range, which is low GI and naturally low in fat, provides consumers with a high fibre option that looks and tastes the same as standard pasta.

Mark Perrin, European managing director at Vetta, comments, “When most people think of high fibre it is often associated with wholegrain, thick, heavy products that are nutritionally beneficial yet less appealing in taste. The Vetta range is created using authentic Italian pasta making techniques and provides an easy way to increase fibre intake without altering the taste or eating experience.”
