Wild and Game launches new exotic burgers

Wild and Game, a young business making British game more accessible to a wider audience, has launched two burgers in time for the summer barbecue season.

The company’s venison and pheasant burgers and its beef and pheasant burgers have been developed with expert chefs to create juicy, full-flavoured patties.

Steven Frampton, co-founder of Wild and Game, says the burgers have already been well received.

“We’ve done extensive tasting and refining of these recipes before launching them and we’re confident we’ve got something special,” he said. “Wild and Game is all about helping people in the UK discover the joy of eating game. Considering it is in such ready supply, it’s a shockingly under-used meat and we want to change that. We believe the key is to give people something delicious that’s based on their favourite recipes – but with a game twist.”

The company’s other products include a selection of sausages in grouse and wild boar, pheasant and venison, and pheasant and white wine varieties.

“One of our founding principles is that game should be enjoyed all year round – not just in the autumn,” said Steven. “Our sausages and burgers are ideal for enjoying on a summer barbeque and make a real conversation starter.”

The new burgers come in packs of 4 priced £4.35. The sausages come in packs of 6, priced £4.40 for the pheasant-based sausages and £4.90 for grouse and wild boar.
