Award-winning Fatherson Bakery, renowned for its ‘taste of homemade’ bakery goods is sending a thank you to the NHS by launching new, freshly made Butterfly Vanilla Cakes.

With every cake sold, Fatherson Bakery will be donating 10p to the NHS (50p for every pack sold) to praise and celebrate the hard work of the nation’s ‘health heroes’.

Laurence Smith, MD of Fatherson Bakery, said: “As British bakers, we wanted to give something back to our national heroes who are saving lives day in, day out.  This is just a little way of all of us at Fatherson Bakery – our artisan bakers, our warehouse & delivery team, our administrative teams and senior staff – to say thank you for doing such a courageous job.  So, let’s celebrate the NHS and all keyworkers together!”

The Butterfly Vanilla Cupcakes priced at £2.50 and are available from Co-op, Budgens, Nisa, Londis, Spar, and hundreds of independent convenience stores, farm shops and delis, as well as Fatherson Bakery’s newly launched delivery site, www.directdeliver.co.uk.
