Coca-Cola shares uplifting messages from across the UK on Piccadilly Lights

With the countdown to Christmas officially underway, Coca-Cola is offering people the chance to share messages of positivity and festive cheer with their loved ones on the famous Piccadilly Lights for everyone to see and enjoy.

From 5 December, fans of Coca-Cola will be encouraged to Tweet their uplifting message with @CocaColaGB, using the hashtag #CokeSign for the chance to have their name, message and image up on the iconic lights.

Following a challenging year, the activity aims to offer people the chance to share a heartfelt and uplifting message on a scale like no other. Plus, for those lucky enough to have their message chosen, they’ll receive an image of it on the Piccadilly Lights so that they can share with their friends, family and on social media.

Simon Harrison, vice president of Commercial Development at CCEP GB, said: “This year has been incredibly challenging for many people and continues to be with ongoing restrictions. So, this Christmas, as a way to make it extra special, we want to offer people a unique way to share their uplifting and personal messages with friends and loved ones via one of the biggest and best ways possible.

“Christmas is all about sharing special moments and we hope people enjoy the opportunity to see their names and messages on the iconic Piccadilly Lights.”

Marking 100 years since Coca-Cola started advertising at Christmas, the brand aims to encourage people to give the gift of yourself this year. Coca-Cola will be expecting proposals, declarations of love, and a whole lot of ‘wish you were here’ messages.
