Thatchers adds apple and blackcurrant to cider range

Thatchers Cider has introduced a new Apple and Blackcurrant flavour.

A rich, refreshingly fruity cider, created with the sweetest dessert apples, a fresh berry aroma and bold natural blackcurrant flavour, welcome Thatchers Apple and Blackcurrant Cider.

New from the Somerset cider maker, this latest addition to the award-winning range has an ABV of 4% and is available in both 440ml and 330ml can packs, as well as single 500ml glass bottles.

Joining Thatchers best-selling Blood Orange, Cloudy Lemon and Rosé in our fruit range; Gold, Haze, Vintage and Katy in our apple cider selection, Thatchers Apple and Blackcurrant is crafted at Myrtle Farm in Somerset by our fourth-generation cider making family.

Fourth generation cider maker, Martin Thatcher says the brand is aware that the flavour style is sought after by British cider lovers.

“So we’ve worked hard to give it a Thatchers twist that will help it stand out,” he adds.

Thatchers Apple and Blackcurrant is currently available in selected Tesco, Budgens, Londis and Premier stores across the UK, as well as online. Further stockists will be on board in early 2024.

Thatchers Apple and Blackcurrant is made with dessert apples including Fuji and Gala, with natural blackcurrant flavour to give a rich and fruity character, featuring the provenance and refreshing quality that drinkers love from Thatchers.

Thatchers Apple and Blackcurrant cider has a recommended retail selling price of £5.89 for a 4x440ml can pack, £2.25 for a 500ml glass bottle, and £12.00 for a pack of 10x330ml cans.
