UK Food Certification receives the ‘BRCGS CB of the Year’ award

UK Food Certification has been awarded the prestigious BRCGS Certification Body of the Year at the BRCGS Connect Europe Awards, held on 7th February in Coventry.

This award, judged by BRCGS, is made to the Certification Body to have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the aims of BRCGS and achievement of rigorous requirements relating to customer service, operational performance, and compliance with its integrity programme.

Speaking when announcing the award, Amanda McCarthy BRCGS business director noted that from its creation in 2016, UK Food Certification has become one of the largest BRCGS CBs in the UK, and in fact, globally.

“It has never dropped below a 5-star rating in its KPIs,” McCarthy said. “The team actively support BRCGS in standard and protocol development and are always ready to provide constructive feedback. UK Food Certification actively supports their customers and the wider assurance industry.”

Speaking after the award, Oliver Hynes, UK Food Certification operations director said he is  delighted to receive this award which is a testament to the hard work of the entire team.

“It recognises our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in auditing and certification and reflects our can-do approach,” Hynes added. “We value our relationship with BRCGS and look forward to continuing our partnership.”
