Vitafoods Europe 2024: Divi’s Nutraceuticals presents full range of beta-carotene and astaxanthin solutions for clean labels

Join Divi’s at Vitafoods Europe on 15 May at 16:00 (New Ingredients Theatre, F184).

It will present AstaBead, highly concentrated beadlets of sustainable natural astaxanthin, resulting from the combination of Divi’s and Algalif’s expertise.

Algalif’s production process, located in Iceland, uses 100% renewable energy, and provides premium astaxanthin oleoresin naturally sourced from microalgae. Divi’s transforms this oleoresin into exclusive, easy-to-handle AstaBead beadlets that contain 5% astaxanthin – the highest concentration available on the market – allowing smaller tablets and hard-shell capsules. AstaBead beadlets also show excellent performance in applications such as nutritional bars and fortified powder drinks.

Divi’s will also introduce new additions to one of the broadest portfolios of beta-carotene on the market, with specialty forms that meet the requirements of every application. Divi’s carotenoids can be used in supplements, and to fortify or colour a variety of liquids and dry foods and beverages.

To meet consumer demand for clean labels, Divi’s portfolio includes products which contain less additives. At Vitafoods Europe 2024, Divi’s Nutraceuticals will also showcase its Vitamin D3 500 SD, a high potency spray-dried powder providing 500,000 IU per g. The cutting-edge manufacturing technology ensures constant particle size distribution and an optimised concentration, resulting in excellent content uniformity in applications such as premixes.
