Cannumo, the Lithuanian wellness startup, has secured a historic €1 million investment on Shark Tank. Lithuania, setting a new record for the largest deal ever recorded on any European business reality show.

The investment was spearheaded by entrepreneur Tadas Burgaila, co-founder of the Kilo Group, who committed €600,000 for a 20% equity stake in Cannumo, supplemented by a €400,000 loan. Burgaila has also set an ambitious goal for the company: a €30 million valuation within the next 12 months.

Cannumo co-founders Mykolas Karpičius and Dominykas Ježerys presented Goodie, their flagship fermented beverage containing 96 live bacterial cultures. Positioned as a functional alternative to alcoholic drinks, Goodie taps directly into the booming global interest in gut health and non-alcoholic wellness products.

Following the record-breaking capital injection, Cannumo announced an accelerated global expansion strategy, beginning with a critical 90-day plan to launch into the UK — one of the world’s most dynamic e-commerce markets for health and wellness.

Co-founder Karpičius emphasized the strategic importance of the deal: “This investment and partnership with Tadas Burgaila are hugely important for us. We share the same vision, and his experience is exactly what Cannumo and Goodie need as we expand internationally.”

Burgaila, explaining his decision, stated: “This team has something most Lithuanian businesses lack, they know how to sell… The probiotics market is huge and global interest is at an all-time high. Listening to Cannumo’s story, I realised these are the people I want to work with.”

The success on Shark Tank is the latest milestone for Cannumo, which has already established itself as one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the Baltic region over the past three years. The company, which revealed it had already invested approximately €500,000 of its own capital prior to the show, has earned significant international recognition, including:

  • Best New Product Launch – NielsenIQ Awards
  • Best New Health Product – NOPEX 2024
  • Taste Innovation Award – Anuga 2025

“This investment isn’t just the largest in the show’s history in Lithuania, based on available data, it sets a new investment record across all European business reality shows,” confirmed Laurynas Šeškus, producer of Shark Tank. Lithuania.

The company confirmed it is already sold in several European countries and is preparing a separate gut-health product specifically tailored for the US market.
