Premium snacking brand Forest Feast is expanding its innovation credentials with the launch of Matcha Chocolate Almonds, created in collaboration with viral matcha disruptor PerfectTed.

The April 2026 debut marks Forest Feast’s first‑ever brand partnership and underscores its ambition to redefine permissible indulgence through bold flavour exploration and high‑quality ingredients.

For 30 years, Forest Feast has built its reputation on category‑shaping creativity, and this latest launch continues that trajectory. The new product blends handcrafted almonds with velvety white chocolate infused with PerfectTed’s high‑quality matcha, delivering a snack that balances crunch, creaminess and the distinctive earthy‑sweet profile of matcha.

The collaboration taps into one of the fastest‑growing flavour trends in the UK. Matcha’s surge in popularity — particularly among younger consumers — has been fuelled by social media and a shift toward functional, energising alternatives to coffee.

“We are always on the lookout for opportunities to translate cultural trends into crave‑worthy innovation,” says Leona McCaugherty, head of marketing at Forest Feast. “With matcha becoming one of the fastest‑growing flavour trends, it felt like an exciting territory to explore and an opportunity to reach and excite younger consumers, particularly as data shows as many as 40% are replacing tea or coffee with the viral sensation.”

The new Matcha Chocolate Almonds will roll out across major retailers this spring: 120g sharing bag: Sainsbury’s from 4 April; Boots from 4 May; 40g impulse pack: Dunnes Stores ROI from 4 April; Tesco from 18 May; an RRP: £3.95 (120g) / £1.45 (40g).
