The morning coffee run just got an upgrade

Spacegoods, the functional wellness disruptor known for its bestselling Rainbow Dust blend, has made its first move into the ready‑to‑drink coffee category with the launch of Spacegoods Oat Mushroom Latte.
Available now, the new canned format brings the brand’s signature mix of mushrooms, adaptogens and coffee extract into a convenient grab‑and‑go drink designed for sustained energy and focus.
The launch marks a strategic entry into Britain’s booming coffee‑to‑go market, now valued at more than £6.1 billion annually. With UK consumers drinking around 98 million cups of coffee a day, expectations of what a daily caffeine fix should deliver are shifting.
As more shoppers look for alternatives that support mental clarity, balanced energy and overall wellbeing, functional coffee is emerging as one of the category’s fastest‑rising segments.
Spacegoods has built its reputation on challenging the idea that coffee must come with jitters or energy crashes. Rainbow Dust — the brand’s hero product — blends coffee extract with Lion’s Mane, Ashwagandha, Chaga and Maca Root to support focus and everyday performance. The new RTD format brings that formula into the moments where convenience matters most, from morning commutes to gym sessions and busy workdays.
The brand’s move comes as functional beverages continue to accelerate across retail. Ocado reports a 54% year‑on‑year rise in functional drink sales, driven largely by younger consumers seeking products that combine convenience with tangible wellbeing benefits.
Founder Matthew Kelly said the launch represents the next evolution of Spacegoods’ mission: “I started Spacegoods because I was done with what coffee was doing to my mind and body. Now it’s in a can, in a range of flavours, and you can take it anywhere. This is the version of coffee I always wished existed.”Launching in Coffee and Coffee Caramel, each can contains five active ingredients and is vegan, cruelty‑free and all‑natural.
