Beyond Meat in September eating reset push

Beyond Meat is launching an ambitious nationwide push to help the UK reset eating habits this September, teaming up with NHS GP and TV doctor Dr Amir Khan and fitness entrepreneur and mum Lucy Mecklenburgh to front its Beyond Busy: September Reset campaign.
The plant‑based leader has recruited the trusted medical voice of Dr Khan and the relatable, family‑focused perspective of Mecklenburgh to inspire realistic, pressure‑free ways for households to eat well as routines return after the summer break. The partnership aims to support meat‑reducers and plant‑curious consumers with simple swaps, quick meal ideas and evidence‑based nutrition guidance that fit into busy lives.
Dr Khan will cut through common nutrition myths and encourage achievable changes, including swapping one or two meals a week for high‑protein plant‑based options. Mecklenburgh will share practical family recipes and post‑workout meals using Beyond Meat products, showing how balanced eating can be both convenient and enjoyable.
Ellie Stevens, head of brand UK at Beyond Meat, said the September moment is ideal for helping families reset: “We want to show that eating well doesn’t have to be complicated, restrictive or time‑consuming. Through practical advice and delicious recipes, we’re helping people discover simple ways to add more variety to their weekly meals.”
Dr Khan added: “Healthy eating shouldn’t mean chasing perfection. Small, realistic changes are much more likely to become lifelong habits.”
Mecklenburgh said: “Once the school routine begins again, life gets incredibly busy. I’m excited to share our favourite family recipes to show how easily a balanced diet can fit into real life without extra stress.”
Launching 1 September, the campaign will spotlight the Beyond Burger and Beyond Steak Pieces through national media, social content, recipes and seasonal lifestyle features designed to help families make healthier choices without compromising on taste or convenience.
