Pack stacker
With the MPS 302 model, Multivac has launched onto the market an automatic pack stacker which significantly simplifies and accelerates the loading of thermoformed packs and trays into boxes. The MPS 302 stacks the packs on top of each other in a defined way at the end of the packaging line. The stacks can then be loaded into the prepared boxes with just one movement of the hand. The manual effort is reduced by up to 50 per cent.
Thanks to its flexibility in the case of both packaging technology (traysealers and thermoforming packaging machines) and the arranging of pack flows, the MPS 302 can be integrated in the widest range of packaging lines. The system can also be accommodated behind labelling and inspection systems, and it can stack up to 120 packs per minute. The MPS 302 produces up to 35 pack stacks with a height of up to 160 millimetres. In high- performance thermal packaging lines, which have a higher production output, two MPS 302 pack stackers can be integrated, which work in parallel. This enables the stacking rate – depending on the line arrangement – to be increased to up to 240 packs per minute.
