Lincolnshire, UK based egg producer L J Fairburn & Son has installed a new Moba 530 Grader.

Having secured major contracts with national retailers across the country, the new grader will help take production to the next level and enable the company to meet steadily increasing demand.

David Willis, technical manager at LJ Fairburn & Son, comments, “The new grader now allows Fairburn’s to pack up to 190,000 eggs per hour when needed; some 2.5 million eggs per day on our current shift pattern. This provides us with the grading capacity and flexibility to cope with our continued growth and customer needs.”

Daniel Fairburn, managing director of LJ Fairburn & Son, adds, “We made a business decision to invest in the grader to accommodate for the additional demand we have received from national retailers since we decided to market our eggs independently. The new Moba 530 Grader will facilitate increased production capabilities and future growth and will further help to integrate our supply chain.”
