Nestlé opens coffee factory in Germany

Nestlé has opened a large coffee capsule factory in the northern German city of Schwerin, increasing Nescafé Dolce Gusto production capacity and providing new employment opportunities for the region.
The factory will lead to the creation of around 450 new jobs and comes after two years of construction and a cost of €220 million.
The new factory will supply Germany, the largest market for Nescafé Dolce Gusto, as well as the Scandinavian and eastern European markets with the brand’s capsules for hot and cold coffee and
tea-based drinks.
