Ishida Europe has launched an enhanced version of its weigher for the handling of granular products which, it says, can be easily damaged by auger or volumetric cup fillers.

The new range of high speed cut-gate weighers features a newly designed weigh hopper that minimises the discharge time of the weighed product without spillage, along with an enhanced cut-gate mechanism to improve product feeding and a three time faster processing capability, according to the firm.

“These features deliver even faster weighing speeds – up to 30 weighments per minute per head depending on product type – while maintaining the excellent accuracy and gentle handling of these weighers,” says an Ishida spokesman.
