Bespoke labelling service

The Wiltshire Liqueur Company has been producing liqueur since 1993. Originally as a side business with only a limited number of bottles of sloe gin and damson vodka produced each year as gifts for customers, in 2012, following a company takeover and the launch of wild strawberry and blood orange liqueurs, production was boosted from 1,500 bottles a year to 10,000.

The company offers personalised bottles of its liqueurs with a name or special message on the label, great for birthdays, anniversaries and other presents, with its bespoke labelling service. It needed a solution to produce the labels at no extra cost for customers and without any set up fees or minimum order requirements.

The company invested in labelling specialist Primera’s LX-Series of colour label printers, a range of desktop label printers, which utilise high resolution inkjet technology to print colourful labels for products, boxes and packaging. Printed labels can include photos, graphics, illustrations and text – even high resolution linear or two-dimensional bar codes.

The company creates labels in Adobe Photoshop and then prints them. Labels can be printed when and where they are needed in just the quantities that are required, so there are no minimum order requirements, no plate or die charges and no obsolete label inventory or long lead times.
